With a second day of forecast calm early morning conditions, I came back the next day Saturday April 14. At 7:32am worked this above group of Good As Gold cultivar flowers against the cloudy sky.
Per FOSJRG:Yellow blend Hybrid Tea. Introduced in United States by Weeks Wholesale Rose Grower, Inc. in 2014 as 'Good as Gold'. Orange, golden-yellow shading, red highlights. Flowers deep golden orange-yellow finished with a kiss of red. Mild, tea fragrance. 27 to 35 petals. Average diameter 5 inches. Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, classic hybrid tea bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed, ovoid buds. Tall, bushy, spreading, upright, well-branched. Large, glossy, dark green foliage. 3 to 7 leaflets. Height of 47 inches to 6 feet 7 inches (120 to 200 cm). At 8:01am worked the above Ketchup and Mustard cultivar rose bloom with its exceptionally bright orangish-red petals.
Per FOSJRG: Floribunda. Red, deep yellow reverse. Mild, apple, tea fragrance. 20 to 28 petals. Average diameter 3.25 inches. Medium to large, very double, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered to cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. A more continuous breeze began that prevented further work until at 8:47am was back at the Good As Gold plot for the last shot of this morning, up against the gray cloudy sky subject.

I returned 4 days later as the forecast again showed a low breeze though sunny this time morning on Saturday April 18, 2026. The above Smokin Hot, cultivar was shot at an early 6:43am PDT.

One of my favorite rose plots has the above Chilhuly, cultivar roses that often appear neon glowing.
Per FOSJRG:Red blend Floribunda. Exhibition name: 'Chihuly' Bred by Tom Carruth (United States, 2004). Orange and yellow. Mild, tea fragrance. 17 to 25 petals. Average diameter 4 inches. Medium to large, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters bloom form. Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season. Medium, bushy. Medium, glossy, dark green foliage. Height of 39 inches to 47 inches (100 to 120 cm).

A breeze rose up that stopped my shooting for quite awhile. Eventually that waned, then put some Good As Gold roses up against, this time at 7:57am, a nicely blue sky.

A cluster of Life of the Party, cultivar blooms up in the out of focus blue sky with patchy thin clouds. With a breeze increasing, this was the last image worked this morning.

My next visit was on Thursday April 23, 2026, a nicely sunny day with clear blue skies. At 8:27am, I put the above Rainbow Sorbet, with 2 cultivar clusters of roses up against that blue sky.

These flowers are in a plot with the cultivar named Rainbow Home Run, that may be incorrect. Numbers of plot signs are missing or incorrect and the web page listing for the garden plots is stale.

At 9:04am, these colorful Peach Drift rose blooms are small within low to ground plants.

An increasing breeze became and issue. My final subject this morning was the above a Memorial Day cultivar bloom at 10:02am.

Yet a symphony of feelings comes to mind with this unusual orchid pink hybrid tea.
