On Februrary 12, 2010, I and many other photographers that have been clients of Calypso Imaging Inc received an email from Joseph Levine that he and his wife Barbara, have decided to discontinue their business and retire. Calypso as one of early implementors of digital photography techonologies at the close of the last decade was one of the premier Lightjet printing services for professional photographers including all of this person's printing. Accordingly I am currently in the process of switching to a different Lightjet printing service and until that is complete, I will not be accepting print orders although email inquiries are always welcome. Associated print and processing information on other pages of my site are also stale. I have coded print prices into 14 levels designated with capitol letters A through N in the Price Codes first table below. The second table, Print Slide Number Ordering List with Price Codes sequence, is indexed by slide numbers in the first column. Each image's slide number is also located on its image page in bold font just below each image in the left side information field. The second column Title field entries are also links to each print page. For example, for the first entry in the table, Evolution Split Mirror Lake Reflection, the slide number is shown as 80A_15-31 both on the image information field and in the table. Note one may also momentarily mouse hover over any image on the home page gallery index which would also show a print title. If one only has the Title or a term in the Title, please use the Windows Find <CTRL>f Windows function to quickly search down the list. First images in the table are 35mm images (prefixes 80A- thru 99B-), then 6x7 images (prefixes 00 thru 03), then 4x5 images(prefixes 04- thru 07-) in alphanumeric sequence by slide numbers. Note the middle term, for instance the BB term in 05-BB1-2 follows the Z term in 05-Z2-2 instead of being after say 05-B6-4. Many photographers today have rather large bodies of work offered to the public. However because even the raw lab cost of printing a large print is expensive, most simply only have printed small sizes. Unfortunately when an image is printed, there are a number of abberations like dust, digital artifacts, and noise that may only show up noticeably if an image is printed large. For that reason all of my images below have actually been printed at the largest sizes for use as my exhibition print masters. Additionally during Photoshop processing though some consider such overkill, I examine virtually every section of images at 200% zoom left to right top to bottom to be certain even my initial exhibition master have no flaws. Thus I know each print is already perfect without any surprises. Most of the 4x5 images are available in two sizes at this time while 35mm and 67 images are available in just one size. Please contact me for custom smaller sizes, though expect pricing to be higher due to more time and overhead involved. Expect pricing for prints to change over time upward. The below prices in the far right column include state tax if California residents, and shipping. Thus no need to calculate anything more. |
Thus if one decides to purchase a print coded B, simply write a personal check or money order out to David Senesac per below for $107. The included shipping invoice will break out costs for the print, including tax to the nearest mil, and shipping. See tax breakout for details. In the future I may accept credit cards if the level of sales activity warrants such. For more detailed information on how I am processing orders, refer to Business Workflow. Checks or money orders will not be cashed until I actually start work on an order. After they are accepted by my bank, I will issue an email stating I have cashed the check, am ordering a print, and expect to ship approximately on such date. If the order is canceled for any reason, the check will be either torn up or if requested by the customer, mailed back. Of course as a working photographer there are times when I am out in the field for several days at a time though rarely more than 10 days. In those times there may be a delay so do not become concerned if an email is not immediately forthcoming. For that reason I encourage people to send an email before mailing in an order so I can explain any delays. After early November through February, I shoot very little while late spring through mid summer and again in early fall, I can be quite busy with short trips doing what I enjoy best as a landscape photographer. If I am about to leave on an extended trip and receive an order, I cannot immediately work on, I will US mail or email the customer of the delay. To order, mail your check with a letter indicating the slide number, title of the print, print size desired per the table below, your ship to address, and email address if available. Feel free to email me at sales@davidsenesac.com or telephone me via information in the Contact sub-page link field on my homepage for any questions. For considerations as to how prints might fit in frames or on walls, more detailed dimensions of prints are on the Print Dimensions page. I am eager to make ordering a pleasant simple experience for all customers, hope everyone will enjoy their new prints, and I will appreciate any future purchases. Address order letter to:
